The analysis of trace elements in metals is essential for numerous high-tech and industrial sectors in which the highest material purity is required. Our laboratory offers highly specialized trace analysis for pure and ultra-pure metals, including gold (Au), silver (Ag), palladium (Pd), platinum (Pt), aluminium (Al) and many other elements.
By using state-of-the-art inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (ICP-MS), we are able to determine even the smallest trace amounts in the ppb (parts per billion) range. This highly sensitive method is ideal for applications in the semiconductor, aerospace, medical technology and electronics industries, where contaminants, even in minimal quantities, can be critical.
For particularly demanding ultra-trace analyses, we work together with our sister company Elmaspecs GmbH, which focuses exclusively on this highly specialized analysis technology.

The processing time is 3-7 working days, depending on the sample and scope of analysis. You can send your samples by post or hand them in personally at our laboratory.
